Is it normal that i prefer silver over yellow gold jewelery

i dont know why but gold makes me feel like i am trying to much to look cool or something. silver jewelery is nicer and even white gold is lovely. is it normal that i dont like yellow gold?

    I prefer silver. Gold can be very tacky or too yellowie. lol
    White gold isn't that bad.

    I used to feel the same way, but real gold cleaned and polished by pros is the sexiest thing ever!

    I'm with you on this. I think gold looks a bit vulgar (maybe rappers ruined it). I don't even care whether something is white gold or platinum or titanium or any of those things. Silver is nice enough and, to be honest, it might just be my favourite metal.

    Same.
    I've been this way for a while. I just feel like yellow gold stands out too much and demands too much attention. It's too "loud". Whereas white gold and silver are more mellow. They also match with anything you decide to where, while yellow old clashes.

    I personally prefer silver & white gold too. I like the "cool" look. I don't mean "cool" as in "hip" but... as in contract to the warm colors of gold.

    Yeah, it's normal.
    I don't care for yellow gold. I just don't like the way it looks and it is a lot of money to pay for a piece of jewelry that I might lose anyway XD I'm not a big jewelry person.

    Both my husband and I have I think silver or white gold wedding rings. Only real piece of jewelry I own.

    I FUCKING LOVE YELLOW GOLD.i only wear yellow gold.it does NOT tarnish like silver will and it will not rust or fade.and all white gold is is yellow gold that has been rhodium plated......so i will forever wear yellow gold
