Is it normal that i picked a job i physically can't do?

So I picked a job as being a baker. I love baking. It's my passion. But I am physically too weak to carry heavy things. Like, I can do most stuff but I stick to producing the goods instead of fetching the ingredients. Is it normal that I wanted to be a baker knowing that im weak to lift like 10-20 kg?

Normal. I'm a dessert and cakes chef and I do little lifting. Practice will stew then you, but keep in mind that carts, pulleys and levers were made to be used. :)

I used to workout and be able to carry those gallon water jugs. Now my parents are scares cause im a live skeleton to them. So weight lifting it a lot harder or me to do in my physical state. I also do like hours of cardio. Love it!

Easy. I have a high risk of developing osteoporosis. So I can easily become paralyze and I can hardly walk because my legs give out from time to time

As the others have said build yourself up to it. I'm a girl and small at 5' 2" but I carry around heavy sacks of feed up to 25kg as part of my job. Once you are used to it it comes more easily, just don't do your back any mischief!!

  • Sure. Just start doing some weightlifting so that you can manage those heavy bags (and they really are not that heavy, you must be very small).

hey, being small doesn't mean weak;)

But yeah, start lifting weights. This is a rather simple solution to your problem.
