Is it normal that i panic at museums?

I didn't think this was serious until I went for the 3rd time to a museum and I got desperate. I don't feel like I want to run away or anything but I feel INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE. My stomach feels weird and I just can't stand it. All those huge and high ceelings and almost empty rooms with objects under glass displays...the first time I felt like this was at a museum of natural history. I felt so sick when I saw those whales inside those huge acuariums or the dissected animals. Is it normal? Has anybody felt this way before?

It would be more appropriate to panic at the disco.

    Ah, but I kid.

Maybe you've had some negative experience at a museum that would trigger these mini panic attacks - perhaps something you've repressed. That's all I can think of for this sort of behavior.

  • No because people rob them usually and robbers are usually armed
