Is it normal that i over exaggerate stories?

Whenever I tell a shocking story to my friends, I tend to over exaggerate it for the sole purpose of being interesting. I don't do these with major things, but small interesting stories that happen daily. is it normal that I over exaggerate stories?

    Yeah kind of is normal, but for me I try to be as truthful as possible. Most of the time I exagerate numbers.

    i have a friend who does this TWENTYFOURSEVEN.
    make sure you don't do it to much, or you'll bore people.
