Is it normal that i only wear dark clothes?

I really hate brightly colored clothes and refuse to wear them.

You're the attention seeker you pathetic waste of space. Do you have nothing better to do than abuse someone who clearly has some very serious issues?

I have no sympathy for people who pathetically show off their self harm. If they have issues, get help.

I used to cut too admittedly I though I wasn't as keen to show it off to people but as you. However my upper arm is still a mess. I'm ashamed of it and I refuse to take my shirt off at any point around anyone now. One day the need to keep doing this to yourself will end but the scars will stay and I cannot even describe how much you will regret doing it in the first place.

You really need to see a shrink. I cut for over 5 years and now I am mentally stable and joining the military - something that I thought I would NEVER be or do.

I have to live with these stupid ass scars every day. You need to get some help.

You really need to. I thought that I was hiding them perfectly well for quite a while but I got careless and ended up getting one of the cuts infected and I had to get medical attention. The shit landed me in the loony bin for 5 days and it really sucked.

Please go see a school counselor or something. I don't know what your life is like or why you do it but I do know how hard it is to quit and you need your friends, family, counselor, whoever, to help you do it.

I am going to MEPS soon and it's going to be a bitch to lie my way through so as not to get rejected from service due to these stupid ass scars. Quit as soon as you can, I did it for so long that these scars will never completely go away. I'm always reminded of my stupidity whenever I look at them.

Yes. Most of my wardrobe consists of dark coloured clothing. I have under 10 or 15 white shirts and even less for brightly coloured shirts. I went through this curious phase when I was kid where in which, I would ONLY wear black because I wanted to be either a punk or a goth and I think I was depressed. Some people had a problem with it while others didn't. I think people should be allowed to Wear whatever the fuck they want.

I am a goth, and most of the things I like to wear are black or dark-colored. If you like your style, I suggest wearing what you want!

Let me guess... You either live in New York City or Europe :-)

Just kidding. It's pretty normal, especially if you look good in black. Also, this way you never have to worry about matching.

Most of my wardrobe is dark, because I am convinced that I could never properly match lightly colored clothing.

Haha, oh my god, i can relate to this so much. I don't know how "common" it is, but its definitely acceptable. I love fashion and style etc but for some reason I'm mostly drawn to black, grey and white, and occasionally oxblood red or what I like to call muted colours haha. You're not a goth or emo you just probably suit dark colours, or like them! nothing wrong with it. I'm blonde so a lot of pale colours wash me out, plus I hate garish things, and to be honest the rainy UK isn't the most inspiring place to make you want to dress brightly :p however if you find a way to embrace colour when you visit the mall please let me know -.- haha

I'm from Ireland myself and am quite dark skined so dark colors do suit be better. I just get annoyed when my friends give me a hard time about it.I'm usually a very happy person but they seem to think just because i wear dark clothes am depressing.
