Okay so I'm a girl and I have realized that I only ever listen to male singers. On my i-pod, of the over 150 songs i have only 3 are sung by female artists. None of my favorite songs are by females and none of my favorite artists are females either. I guess I just like the sound of guys voices better then girls. Is it normal??

I like lisa hannigan but thats it. There are a few other bands that have male and female vocals but thats the only female singer I like, not sure why
It's normal to have a preference. I love both. I would feel like I'm missing out on so much if I stopped listening to female singers. Maybe you just need to listen to some new music, because there really are some fantastic female vocalists out there, and fantastic music. At the moment, I'm preferring the female vocals. Although, that's probably just because of the style of music I'm liking right now.
Either way, I'd suggest exploring some new stuff. I mean, 150 songs is really small, in my opinion. I wouldn't consider that enough to know for sure what my opinion was. To me, that's sort of like listening to 3 songs from a certain genre, not liking it, and then deciding you don't like that genre.
It kind off makes sense and i can relate to what you are saying. Female artists these days only promote themselves by showing a lot of skin, tits and ass, they have no voice skills whatsoever, with very few exceptions. There is no more Whitney Houston, no more Mariah Carey, no more Celine Dion... Insted we have Lady Gaga, Niky Minaj and Rihanna.(the last one being more of a porn starlet then a singer)
