Im from Seattle, I have a question

I wont listen to anything else but brutal metal like - deathcore deathgrind goregrind thrash etc etc. I love those gernes and other gernes are shit to me.

in my opinion its REAL MUSIC not like shitty boy bands like The Beatles who sing about the sun and fairies!!!! And Justin Bieber is just as bad. i refuse to like them because they aint death heavy. and dont get me started on OH GOD CLASSICAL! Thats just music for butlers.

I'm sure many people agree that brutal death music aint just noise its REAL TALENT because it takes a lot of guts and maturity. What do people think am I right am I right? I think im right ;)

    And for the record, the Beatles are not a boy band. In fact, they had the most talent of any band ever. You've probably never listened to them - oh wait, I forgot, they're not death enough for you.

      The Beatles also started the Progressive Rock era.

      The problem is... just because music isn't screaming doesn't mean it's not real. Not everyone feels the same way... why should one musician's feelings be categorized as "unreal" just because they don't feel the same way about music that someone else feels.

      What the OP is doing I suspect is... mistaking "corporate-driven music" with music he or she dislikes.

      I mean by the same measuring stick one could say "brutal music is stupid. It's just a bunch of guys screaming out dumb lyrics". Not that I specifically think that but... it goes both ways.

      Just because you don't enjoy a style doesn't mean it's stupid or for losers or whatever you feel...

      putting other people and their music choices down doesn't make your own suddenly better.

      The Beatles are FUCKING OVERRATED a as HELL. Yeah they're a great band that contributed a shit load to the music we listen today, but the BEST band ever? Fuck no. And hardcore metal and stuff has some extremely complicated stuff in it. Just because people scream in it and it sounds different, people don't give it a chance.

    I like se grind, black metal , etc but I do get sick of it from time to time. There is talent elsewhere.
