Is it normal that i only have a bath in my house, and not a shower?
I mean, I bathe everyday, like people shower everyday. It's just as hygienic, right?

When I was a kid, we lived at a place that had an old claw-foot tub, and there was this thing that you could attach to the tub faucet that was just like a modern showerhead. I think they still make things like that. It would save you time and water probably.
Well, I checked Amazon and here it is...

I used to live in an older house with only a bath, but we installed a shower in it. go to a home depot or something and tell them what u want and they should be able to help u.
A lot of houses were built before showers were popular in homes, with showers being installed later. Many houses that aren't new won't have showers that weren't put in by people who recently lived there or recently owned it.
And to answer the second part, bathing is perfectly hygenic. If we were all really sitting in our own dirt and it was soooo bad baths wouldn't still be as popular as they are
Assuming you use soap, yes. But I always have a quick rinse after a bath to remove the soap residue. Otherwise I get itchy.
I have a bath then a shower straight afterwards. And contrary to popular belief having a bath cleans a person more than a shower does.
my friend has an older house built in the '20's. her bathroom has a bath tub but no shower. unlike other similar houses, it's never had a shower installed. only having a tub works fine for her.
same here, i shower-ish in our tub though. I grew up like this, i lived in france :)
It is as hygenic, so far as I know. I have not seen any evidence for it being less hygenic. Fyi, a shower is usually better for the environment though.
Plenty of people only have one or the other, and it works well for them. Most people don't mix it up much anyway, so they only need one.
