During the first year, they were monthly like they should be. During all the other years, they were only coming every other month. While this is more convenient, I'm worried that it may be not normal or even unhealthy . Should I be worried?
It's normal.. You're just irregular, so am I. Sometimes I go 3 months without a period actually.
before I went on birth control, I had the same problem. I asked my doctor about it and she said that I might have a lazy ovary. I would def talk to your doctor and find out what is wrong.
Ask your GYN, there are alot of other factors to this that we can not see.
Do you have other symptoms with it? Bad cramps, irritability? You could have a few "normal" ovarian cysts, or it could be other things. It's always best to see your GYN.

It's hard to say whether or not it's normal because none of us here are doctors and we don't know anything else about you.
If you are experiencing no other symptoms, I wouldn't worry much. However, you're still better off seeing a doctor.
I think it's normal. I had a similar issue after my first year but my doctor told me it was normal. She said that some people even have two in a month.
