Is it normal that i only ever listen to regina spektor?

I discovered Regina Spektor about 3 years ago and immediately fell in love. I used to be a pretty big music enthusiast, but ever since I started listening to Regina, she's all I ever listen to. EVER. I've listened to her songs thousands of times I'm sure, I never get tired of hearing them; sometimes I even play the same ones over and over. I have at least 150 of them on my iTunes and I constantly search for more songs to download and interviews to watch. I play her songs when I'm driving, sitting at home, or doing whatever. I have a pretty large collection of other artists, but I always choose Regina. I'm never in the mood to listen to anyone else, and I can't seem to find an interest in anyone else, nor do I want to. I want to marry this woman! She's just so cute and quirky, she's beautiful and a true genius, and her music is so perfectly weird and inspiring. Is it normal to only want to listen to this one artist for the past 3 years?

    I don't know if this is normal. I have heard of here but I don't think that I've ever listened to her music. I have gone through periods where I would only listen to one or two artists' like Lady Gaga Or Enigma. I've noticed that solitary listening can only work if the Artist in question has released many CD/songs. Otherwise, it can get boring rather quickly.

    I can relate with the celebrity crush. When I used to listen to ALOT of lady gaga, I had a huge crush on her. Eventually, my feelings waned and I realised that chances were incredibly slim that I could be in a relationship with her. O_o As of late, I haven't developed any "romantic feelings" for musicians. It's normal to have a crush on a musician but it's not healthy to become obsessed.

    I've heard of her, but I haven't listened to her. Perhaps I'll check her out.

    And yes, having a favourite artist is normal. It's even normal if you have a crush on her, but don't ignore people closer to your reality. I have a few favourite bands, and to be honest the members are quite attractive. And even though I'm a straight girl I think Kerli is gorgeous :)

    Completely normal. If you can listen to somebody over & over & still love them, it shows they're good.

    I wouldn't call it normal, but if that's what you want to do with your music, then that's your choice. I would recommend that you broaden your horizons- there's great music out there. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Regina Spektor.

    I like her a lot too, but I do listen to other music. Including music similar to Regina. I'm sure there'll be plenty who disagree but Regina Spektor seems quite similar to Tori Amos and I can't imagine never hearing Cornflake Girl again.
