I hope so. Plants offer great nutrition. Ever have a salad? How about some herbs? Many of those are leaves.
ha I do that all the time. but I would be carefull ( actualy very carefull). some things can be a bit toxic. don't worry about me, my mum does foraging for a living, supplying mushrooms to restaurants.
so I know what to eat and what to avoid. I go for long walks in the forest and collect nuts and leaves to put in salad.
my advice: if you ever encounter wild Hops (what beer is made from) boil the shoots and eat them with cheese!!! *so good*
I used to eat leaves fresh from the tree, grass and sand. I was kid who possibly had some form of pica or it could have been peer pressure.
There's nothing wrong with eating leaves. Just make sure that they are edible and clean. Don't eat leaves with waste, disease, etc.
That's nothing. I once ate tree dust out of a tree that looked like upside down man legs. I picked it right from between the tree legs, where the tree penis was. It looked a lot like chicken, so I figured it would taste like chicken, or at least have a similar texture. I was wrong.
