Is it normal that i never want to get into a relationship?

I'm a 19 yr old female that's never been in a relationship and I don't ever want to get into a relationship. I believe that it would be pointless, stupid, and a waste of time. I believe that there's better things that I could do with my life than getting romantically/sexually involved with someone and get married to said person. The farthest I might go with someone is friendship. But that's it. Is it normal how I feel about this?

    Meaningless relationships are one thing, a true relationship (where you both fall in love) is something completely different.

    I wouldn't quit on love. It's an amazing feeling when it's true.

    Well your 19, most girls that age are looking for relationships while most boys that age are preying on that mentality for sex. Im probably naive but im looking for just the one person that i cannot live without... But theres like 8 billion people in this world!

    I have been in many. They are not as fun as they look. Its just a bunch of overrated bull shit. Most people now a days do not take it seriously.

    So you might be in many and the partner does not see a future. They just want to fuck around for a few months before they get bored. Which if you never dated before might be very damaging to your self esteem.

    Anything can end a relationship. If one of the partners see it as just fucking around and you see it as more you are going to be very distrot when they uprubtly decide to end it out of the blue without reason.

    To those who are married and happy and have kids and DIDNT get a divorce. Congratulation to you and I am glad you are so happy. I myself do not see the point in hooking up with someone if you do not see a possible future with them.

    I mean you could easily just find someone to fuck. Why fuck with someones heart when you do not have to? If you are planning on hooking up for a month or two its the same as having a fuck buddy and you are just looking for pleasure not love.

    The other person might not see it like that and you could assume they are. So the person getting hurt is them not you. That is rather inconsiderate.

    How often this feeling is age related and changes when love comes into your heart. But of course you are right, it makes you loose focus, when giving your heart to another, but with it, comes rewards

    Friends with benefits. There's no reason to tie yourself down to a relationship at this age, but why wouldn't you want to do some experimentation and have some fun?

    It isn't something to dwell on.
    Sometimes you just fall in love and true love is nothing negative. It is hard to find though.
