Im 18 year old, i never had a gf, i think i will never have a gf cuz i think its because i have acne and i cant get rid of it because i have very sensitive skin i tried meds and other stuff but in like 2 weeks they re appear..
I'm sure its not the acne. It doesn't help, but a great guy with terrible acne, who is fun to be around and is confidant without being cocky probably can have all the gf's he wants.
You'd go out with a really cool gal even if she had acne and you didn't, wouldn't you?
Don't worry I'm sure you'll have a girlfriend when the time is right. I'm 20 and I haven't had a boyfriend yet, but I don't want to just date someone for the status and am waiting for the right guy. I also have acne and understand how you feel in regards to that. I have learned that cutting down on dairy helps me. Having confidence is key. If you are confident people will see that and not your acne as much.
Oh yes, its normal. I am 22 and I haven't had a gf before. You wouldn't want a gf that couldn't look past someone as small as acne anyway. ^^ someone mentioned confidence. That is very true. I can't say I am the most confident person, but confidence does make a difference as well as having a purpose in life. Relationships will come around for you.
Keep on using those acne treatments consistently, it will eventually get better. Improving your confidence is also a start and you can try helping others. You could also ask your friends to hook you up if you're that desperate... And try to be charming, some girls enjoy attention.
Acne is normally a phase, it should disappear in time and then you can look like George Clooney. That said you're only 18! Chill out! I only got my first GF last year and im 33!!!
