I'm almost 19 and am a very attractive girl. I'm not fat or anything, I get complemented daily in my looks, hair and clothes. Thing is, I never had a boy ask me out as a girlfriend before. I have a great personality, know how to make guys laugh and how talk to them. And I'm definitely not the type to ask guys out either. What's the deal? I can't think of any reason why anyone wouldn't ask me out. I'm a great person and told so by many guys!

    Mr. Right may be too shy to ask. Maybe he talks to you every day but is afraid that if he asks you out and you say no, he will lose you as a friend.

    If you meet a guy you like, you may have to do two things... 1.) make it very clear you like him... 2.) make asking you out a non-threatening experience.

    Now that I am middle-aged, I have learned that there were so many beautiful girls (inside and out) who were waiting for me to ask them out. I was either too shy or too afraid I would lose their friendship.

    Guys don't like to date girls "out of their league". Sure, you may be great. But people have a tendency to choose to be "the better looking partner"

    I agree with bigguy2010. Guys are idiots when it comes to things like that. We are on the slow side especially when we are young, so help as much as possible!!!

    First off I know a lot of girls like you. Do you have high standards? That's a common problem. You probably don't flirt enough, and drop enough hints that you're interested.

    If you like a guy, make sure he knows it. If you're attractive and talk to a lot of people ie men and you're a good conversationalist, you start looking untouchable. You need to give blatant signals if you're that much of a rock star. Guys won't be able to picture themselves with you because you have an infinite amount of options.
