Is it normal that i need to be in an odd position to fall asleep?

For some reason, unless I'm drunk or reeeeaally really sleepy, I can't fall asleep unless i have some type of pressure on my hip bones and my rib cage. Sometimes i put pillows there to make the pressure or I tuck in the sheets really tight around me, or if I'm in bed with my husband I'll have him kind of lay on top of me.

Ive actually read that this is a sign of high stress, VERY high stress. I could be wrong I dont know but i guess the theory is that the person is so used to a stressful environment during the day that it's just maintaining status quo. I wonder if that's it? Maybe you're job or something is really high stress and taking yourself out of that level of stress only arouses you (not sexually) and makes it more difficult to relax?

hey, there's a button to the left of the A key, called caps lock. Press it, yours seems to be switched on... haha

back on topic, no it's completely normal (I think.) I am the same way, except I need slight pressure on one of my legs. Don't worry bout it! :)
