Is it normal that I must use some kind of lubricant on my penis in order to masturbate?
I remember that during my teenage years I needn't use any lubricant, not even my saliva in order to jack off. Sometime during my twenties I began using KY-Jell which is a water based lubricant and probably got addicted to it because nowadays I must use something in order to start playing with myself either a proper lubricant, soap or even spit but not with my bare hand, otherwise the friction makes it unpleasant.

    Preferences. We all have them. I use soap, when and do it while taking a bath.

    Recently I have began to use my own saliva too. I find it much more cleaner than a lubricant and easier to use especially when I do it in bed trying not to wake my wife up.
