Is it normal that i move on from breakups really fast

Im an 18 year old male.
I broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years and I was upset for 1-2 weeks but then I really couldnt give a damn about her eventhough she was actually very nice, I couldnt care if I saw her with another guy, and I was emotionally ready to move on. I feel like im emotionally desensitized because I cant get attached to people emotionally very quick, is this normal? comments appreciated

I haven't dated enough to tell you if its normal.

But i've had one serious relationship that lasted a year. WE broke up when i was 18. I cried over her for damn near 2 months. Never in public but in private. Even hearing her name would make me extremely depressed. I thought about her everyday for a year. Then one day i just over it.

So whether or not its normal just be happy you were able to get over her quick. Cuz pining after a woman for a year isn't fun.

also how the relationship ended could have something to do with things. If you guys were already drifting apart for a while and the breakup wasn't a surprise then thats probably why you got over it quick. You already knew what to expect.

If you slowly drifted- That's normal. Was like that with my second boyfriend. I got over him in like .. two days? And we were together for about four years.

I used to be like that before I found someone I really cared about. Maybe you don't form a close enough bond with the person to feel anything when they leave. However, I wouldn't stress over it if I were you... isn't life easier that way?
