Is it normal that i miss my teacher...?

My teacher had been switched after three months of teaching us for three months. We got a different one but I find her extremely boring, for example: when she's explaining something I just do not want to listen, and my participation and enthusiasm has dropped. Every time I go into class I can only think of my old teacher. Now I just feel like skipping class every morning. When I remember the things my old teacher taught us I feel a puking sensation. I always complain to my friends about her leaving... What's wrong with me?

It's normal to miss her, but please don't let your grades suffer.

I'm starting to get used to the new teacher..but I still have trouble paying attention to her during class. my old teacher had this nurturing and motherly voice. The new one has this monotone- computer generated voice...
