Okay, so me and my mom argue every single day! Long story short, she says I'm disrespectful I say she expects to much from me and is very rude. is it normal that I may not love my mom ? Like it's at the point where if she passed out on the floor and was dying , I wouldn't care. What should I do?! When I try to talk to her, she just says whatever and begins to scream at me. IIN?!

    If my mom didn't give birth to me I wouldn't love her. I have a hate for both of my parents so strong that I can't explain it. I probably wouldn't care at first if they died but after a couple of years it might sink in

    Try to understand things from her perspective. She cares about you that's why she yells at you. Maybe that's convoluted but I think it's true. It doesn't matter if you aren't being disrespectful to her IF in her eyes you are. So attempt to fix that or honestly and calmly explain the situation while trying to find middle ground. I agree with Wreckd and would like to believe everyone loves their parents deep down and when you talk things out maybe you can find that love.

    No matter what, I think deep down, everyone loves their parents. It may be hard to realize you do because of the situation. Maybe.

    Try this on for size. I DON'T love my mom. Or my dad. Neither of them care enough to actually be decent parents and chose themselves over me, their son.

    Its mind breaking to think parents could do this, but hey I can still function. I'm slightly unstable, but know one knows that.
