Is it normal that i match people to songs?

When I get to know a person I sometimes end up matching them to a song which I think is similar to them, and sometimes when I listen to the song it reminds me of them. Sometimes it's just a band or even a genre.

A lot of the time it's just the lyrics which remind me of the person, sort of like the song could have been written about them or something like that. Although sometimes people have a "sound", if that makes any sense?

Anyway, does anyone else do this? Although it doesn't happen with every person I get to know, it happens with both people in real life and a even a few of the members on here and I was just wondering who else did this.

    I do this all the time! When I am listening to the song a big scenario happens in my head. It's really fun.

    I do that with animals. Somehow I tend to see people as if they were a specific animal. Like the second highest ranking boss in my region looks like a kookaburra:..go figure.
