I know suicide is a serious matter, but i cannot resist the temptation to masturbate to suicide videos. When I hear about suicides in the news, i always get turned on. It started with just self mutilation, but then i needed more so i turned to suicide videos. please don't vote based on moral views.

Look, I understand that although what you have described is neither acceptable nor sexy to you, that it is of extreme sexual value to me. Think of it this way. The question was not whether or not you think it's sexy, but was merely inquiring as to whether or not it is normal to masturbate to suicide videos. Consider this example: many people enjoy pleasuring themselves to rape videos. Most mainstream pornography sites have entire sections for rape, making it seem as though it's rather normal. However, rape is probably one of the most heinous crimes that a human being can commit, as it is does significant damage both to the mental health and physical health of the person being raped. While I find masturbating to rape porn disgusting, I concede that it is considerably normal, however unfortunate this may be.
I think people are going to raise moral issues about this for obvious reasons. However, to temper that somewhat, I recall reading about a reaction of American women to news of soldiers being killed in Vietnam. A small minority reported this as being a turn-on to them. My initial reaction was one of utter shock and disgust at the lack of respect for someone not only endangering their life, but losing it.
But then I thought about it some more. These women weren't glad that soldiers had died. That they had a sexual response just shows that human sexuality is a very complex beast. The worst thing we can do is judge or to push people underground with their thoughts and urges.
My worry for you, as with most who fetishise, is that you become densensitised and this requires you to take things a step farther to get the same initial sexual charge. I'm not sure where you can go next and if people have a problem with what you already do, they'll most certainly have a problem if you step this up another notch.
Personally, I do feel it's disrespectful and I wouldn't want you masturbating over me in my moment of extremis. But I'm not about to lambast you for being honest. This is in no way a vote that what you do is normal. It's just a reminder that no issue is truly black and white.
At first, I was disgusted. However, I thought it through, and decided that there are many people with worse fetishes, such as rape porn. It might not be normal to masturbate to suicides specifically, but there are many people who find enjoyment in acts as bad if not worse than the taking of ones own life. I admit that although I initially was repulsed and did not allow myself to feel attraction to suicides, I now can relate to your sexual desires. I do believe that everyone has fetishes like this, most people just do not realize that their fetish is morally wrong. Sexual attraction is human nature, and it is normal to have sexual desires, so yes, I would say masturbating to suicide videos is the norm.

I do not think it is normal and given the number of people I know who have attempted suicide it feels disrespectful. However, I suppose even though it is not normal it is okay as long as you don't ask depressed people to hurt themselves for your pleasure, which it doesn't sound like you are doing.

If we are going to get into an argument about the intrinsic value of different human lives, that's for another webpage. I was merely looking for people's opinions on whether or not my fetish is the norm. Although I'm sure you contributed to the percentage of normal votes being so low, you appear to have misunderstood the question that was asked: is it normal that I masturbate to videos of suicides?
