Is it normal that i made out with my best friend?

My best friend and I are both girls, and the other night we were cuddling and talking. We're both straight but we have said "I love you" to each other many times before. Why? Because we really do love each other and care about each other. No big deal. Out of no where she started kissing my cheeks and neck and telling me how much she loved me and how beautiful I am. Soon she asked me if she could kiss my lips. I told her "I don't know". I was very nervous about it because I've never kissed a girl and didn't know what to expect or how it would turn out. She kept asking me and I finally gave in. She just gave me a kiss. It felt weird at first but I secretly wanted more so I kissed her back and we soon started making out while I was on top of her. She kissed better than any guy I've kissed before, probably because she's a girl and knows what girls want. We got into it and started feeling each other and kissing more. We stopped and cuddled some more and my heart was still racing. We talked and I wanted to kiss her again which really confused me. After awhile I got back on top of her and did the same thing. I fell asleep on her and the next morning that's all we did was cuddle and kiss. I'm so confused! I still like guys. Is this normal?
