Is it normal that i'm worried cause he hasn't texted me?

I hungout with a guy that I've been talking to for about a week for the first time last night. We just sat in his room (we live in dorms at uni) and talked and got to know eachother better. I thought it went really well and I left his room last night knowing I definitely have feelings for him... But he didn't text me after I left and I've waited all day today for a text and he still hasn't! Should I be worried? Is it okay if I text him tomorrow? He's shy, so that could be why he hasn't reached out and texted me yet.

    haha you should definitely text him tomorrow or today wherever the heck you are. There are only two possibilities. He either isn't interested or he's too nervous. I'm sure from how well your encounter went you know which one. but hey even if he doesn't text back that doesn't mean anything. If you see him say hi and see how he reacts.

    I've learned that when it comes to shy guys,sometimes you have to make the first move.We've all been taught that the man has to first but there is nothing wrong with a woman doing it.So text him go for it!

    Sounds like you are worrying about nothing. You've known him for a week, there's no rush. For all you know he might be wondering why you haven't texted him.

    Regardless, it's normal not to constantly be in contact with the person you have feelings for - in fact I'd say it's healthy. It's abnormal to expect to be texted endlessly whilst apart, and then worry if you're not.
