Just lately I was scrolling through my IPod and I realised that all of the artists on there were female, except for when men were featuring. Im a girl by the way. Just wondered if it was normal?
It's not sexist by the way... It's just that you prefer female singers more than male singers... I'm a guy and I prefer female singers and most of my songs on my iPad are female singers or instrumental songs, even though I don't like other girls attitude for being b*tchy or rude... So this is completely normal, but I don't think it's sexist for me... I don't listen to all female singers though and I only listen to female singers that I like...
Doesn't mean you're sexist about music, it's personal taste. I tend to like male singers because they have a deeper tone, but I also like female singer with a deeper singing voice, like Adele :) Maybe you just like the general sounds of their voices, since girls are a bit more general than men.
i definately prefer male singers. its because they have more unique voices. women seem to have a general style of voice which most of them fit. ones that dont i like
My iPod is biased towards male singers, and I'm female... could just be that you like higher voices.
i'm the same but opposite i like to hear men and mostly read male authors
I've thought this about myself too. I'm not a girl but most of the music I'd choose to listen to is sung by girls. Just personal preference, I suppose.
