    I believe that's called agoraphobia. It's not normal, but you're far form the only person to suffer from it.

      It's normal for agoraphobics. There is help for it and you can get better with therapy and maybe medication. Know that you are not alone.

      It's no more strange than any other irrational fear or phobia. Good luck to you.

        Thank you. I find the idea of seeing a doctor very scary but I think trying in baby steps might help
