Is it normal that i'm tired after sleeping properly?

I used to sleep for 6 hours, so I wasn't getting enough sleep. Then, this week, I've started to sleep longer so I wouldn't be tired, but I'm even more tired than before! Am I not used to sleeping for long?

over sleeping, basically only 2 hours of sleep is for mental stuff the rest is to repair cell, heal, relaxing etc.
so if u are part of modern life of little physical ativaty u can cut out a bit of the 8 hours

not all of the 6 hours but 2 seems likely if u exercise as little as i do, i will usually get only 5-6 hours of sleep but i feel best at 7 but feel awful after 8(about the same as if i got 3-4)

Usually after your 6-7 hours of sleep, anything more will only make you more tired. No more and no less is recommended.

  • Happens to me too, the longer I sleep the more tired I am when I get up.

How long have you been sleeping now that you're getting more sleep? Because sleeping too long can actually make you tired as well.
