Is it normal that i'm this horny?

I've always thought of myself as a person with a very low libido. I don't wack off ass often as other guys and am usually preoccupied with other shit to do for me to then to worry about sex as much. But recently I've gotten into a very healthy relationship and I really like this girl. We make out, pretty heavily but she's conservative so she wants to take it slow. Its been two months and I am so god damn horny all the time. Is it because we make out and it leads to nothing? I also feel like my horniness might be overwhelming and make things awkward later on, if I were to go too fast. Is this normal?
