I dated this guy for a year and a half and we broke up about a year ago. I just saw him recently and I realized that I am still in love with him. I have been dating since then but I am hoping that somewhere inside, he still feels the same way. Is this normal?

    You absolutely must not let yourself go backwards! You broke up for a reason and need to keep that in mind.
    You will get hurt (again?) if you give in to the temptation to take up with this guy again. It will not work, for so many reasons.
    Keep your distance; don't necessarily be overly friendly or unfriendly, but let him know, in no uncertain terms, that you will not fall under his spell again.

    Yes it's very normal. A lot of people, both guys and girls, their exes but people in hell want ice water. Ole boy is your ex for a reason! Let it be.
