Is it normal that i'm sometimes jealous of girl's clothes?

Sometimes if I'm out with a friend shopping, I notice the huge variety of girls clothes there are compared to mens. I sometimes wish I were a girl just to wear them! Is it normal?

    That's ... totally normal.
Because I'm a girl and most of the time I'm jealous of guy's clothes. I often find myself wanting the clothes that are worn by guys. You guys can wear plain T-shirt & a pair of jeans and still rock. So not fair.. =_=
Guys also get many options of cool jackets.
Oh and to everyone who says that guy's clothes are gloomy and boring, that is SO NOT TRUE. You just haven't seen men's fashion in other parts of the world. I, for one, LOVE men's fashion in Korea. Seriously.

Your mention of wishing you were a girl so that you could enjoy the comforts of female apparel and styles - so why CAN'T you wear femme clothing..? What's to prevent you from NOT doing so...? More explanation (s) would ber nice.. Wishing isn't going to solve your problem (s) and wants..
IO myself, am a long time married crossdresser, with a very supportive, understanding, accepting, knowledgeable, and helpful wife who has taught me all the traits to emulate women, from presentation, to walking, standingh, sitting, mannerisms, make up, hair, nails, etc and I've an extensive wadrobe, including 42 paor of HIGH HEELS (and I do mean HIGH) and this for me, is a lifestyle, and not a hobby, nor a passing fancy / whim.
My male "attire" is next to nil, and there are several things of a male nature that I no longer even own.
AZnd whilst out shopping, I'm NEVER in the men's departments nor stores - no reason either to be. You'll find me though in "femme" stores always looking andsearching / buying.
So if you're of age wherein you are not under your parents "roof" - it may just be time for you to start purchaing a few femme items to get started. Don't WISH your life away for something that's readily obtainable..

Men have a very wide selection of clothing! Try shopping somewhere different other then a department store they have such boring plain colors. Try bilabong, quick silver, boat house. They sell comfortable clothing that aren't work clothes! If you want something more fancy don't go to a department store take your time and walk around the whole frekin mall for once!

You do not get jealous of their clothes, you get jealous of their options in comparison to mens clothing.
At least that is what it sounds like.

  • I notice the myriad of choices that girls have to chose for their future attire, but I don't think positively about it. In fact I see as unnecessary because guys do just fine wearing the same outfits for the whole week. But I know that maybe girls can't do the same. I do however wish I were a girl sometimes just to see life from a new perspective. But I'll stick to being a guy. I think you're normal.

I'm a girl and I shop in the mens section because girls clothes are uncomfortable to me. Though, it just depends on the individual.

When I walk through the men's department, the colours look so gloomy to me; too much brown, grey, black and navy. On the other hand, I think it takes a lot less effort to put together an outfit for a guy. It all seems a lot more straight forward (but yes, less fun).
