Is it normal that i'm sincerly affraid of the matrix?

After I saw the matrix I realized how possible it is that we are living in an artificial program. It was a combination of The Matrix, The Animatrix and George Orwell’s 1984 that really got me into this state of paranoia. I have many reasons to support my beliefs but when I tried to sum it up I realized it would take too many pages.

You know that feeling you get when you realized you forgot something at home that you really need for the day? This warm feeling flushes over your body as soon as you remember and then your heart starts racing and you start sweating when the panic rolls in? Well lately I’ve been getting these feelings each time something I see or hear or feel makes me believe even further that this whole world isn’t what we are forced to believe it is. I guess I’m asking is it normal to be afraid of everything in our reality? Afraid of ads or things people say by accident but feeling there’s a message in there that they don’t even realize they are telling you. More like something else spoke through them to get your attention?

I believe we're all simulations of something but it's stupid to think that we're all been farm bred by robots for no damn reason.

I occasionally see things out of the corner of my eyes like shimmering patches of light and even stuff that shouldn't exist but that doesn't mean they're proof of a Matrix-like exsistance.

When I first saw the Matrix what I felt wasn't fear. My mind was blown and the film really makes you consider the out if our "reality" is a stimulation of some sort. What if there is another world out there and we just haven't been unplugged yet? Scientists are actually trying to prove the theory that we are lving inside a computer (Hologram Reality).

this is a matrix, there are artificial beings being created everywhere posing as "humans". whoever is still really "living" eventually gets assimilated or enslaved by either the police, agents, the media, their line of work, if they are still employed, or goes out of their fucking mind completely and either kills or gets killed. Blame it either on the boston tower or the toronto one, but really ever since the economy was hijacked after y2k and new life has sprung up everywhere to sustain this bullshit existence, I wouldn't take my life if i was still a human being though, do not buy into bullshit principles of religous re-incarnation, it's a myth.

If we are in the matrix...what would it matter??? We still have to go on everyday working, eating, sleeping, shitting etc. Whats the biggie!

It seems to me that you are psychotic. It's ok to beieve AND FEEL that you are in a Matrix in which things don't happen by chance. But there is no reason to be scared about. If you know the -truth- then you can become yourself a "Neo".
You should feel at extreme ease instead....
In other words why are you afraid of the "Game"?

Whatever you experience in your lifetime is YOUR reality, so there's no need to worry. And what if the makers of "the matrix" are in a matrix themselves?

Ah I don't know. I feel like I'm in a mind trap. I understand how it doesn't seem logical but then sometimes things happen; things I notice or see that trigger all these bad feelings again. When I start to feel better it feels like I'm falling for the program all over again and that I'm believing the lie. It's just I'm stuck in a place where I don't know which reality is real. I know it seems stupid but I'm sincerely afraid and people think I'm just being silly. Destiynii you say that all you know is you are real... but how could I? To me you are just words on my screen that I have no idea how got there. My doctor suggested anti psychotics but I said no because I thought he was a machine.

no wait- who are YOU? are you a real person? What i mean is that you sound just like an agent who knows how to trigger mind-control.. but then again I know about this stuff without actually being one with illuminati. so i apologize to all i am misdirected by.. the system is programmed to blend us together so we can't even tell :(

One of the things I have against this being possible is infectious illnesses. People getting sick with established patterns of infection. In the matrix they'd be asleep in their own units. Yet they still get sick and die.

Besides their whole explanation of why do you die in real life when you die in the matrix is rather weak.

  • Matrix is rather scary but not quite that scary love. However I'm sure there are many like this. What is normal anywho? Course you're not normal. But that's good. Please do at least come to terms with the matrix fact then? maybe assume it's true and think of those people who wanted to stay regardless. All I know for sure is that I'm real, so that's one thing to check off the list.

watching a scifi movie didn't show you any possibility, and there isn't any probability. And, no one is forcing you to believe the whole world is anything.

i think you shouldn't watch those movies if you can't differentiate fiction from nonfiction.
