Is it normal that i'm scared of cotton balls?

I'm scared of cotton balls. I can't look at them, touch them, anything. The idea of consuming cotton candy makes me shudder. I use super cheap q-tips that have a hard cotton end so I don't have to deal with the fluff on the better quality ones. they freak me out

            Oh. It's an American thing. Starting in the colonies and continuing until the abolition of slavery, black slaves were forced to work on farms, and one of the most profitable crops using widespread slave labour was cotton.

    My friend is deathly afraid of cotton balls too haha and his roommates got bags and bags of them and dumped them on him while he was asleep and he woke up almost crying hahah

    Haha my mom knew someone who had a phobia of cotton balls. She put one on her desk one day and she ran screaming out of the room. I guess some people have it but I don't really get what's so scary about them. But I can understand because I have major arachnophobia. Lol. I would look up the official name for the phobia of cottonballs

    My best friend is the exact same way, I think it's normal. Some people have weird fears like that, I guess your just one of them lol.

    Try to chew on them!!! Once my dentist made me bite on one, i almost threw up, it's so gross

    My Physics teacher was terrified of them, it's a legitmate fear that some people have. I say you are normal, you just have a phobia of cotton balls.
