How do you think, am I really Russian?
No. That's weird. Next thing you know...someone from Iowa will say they hate corn, someone from Idaho will hate potatoes, someone from Georgia will hate peanuts...
...dogs and cats, living together...the fucking end of the world man!
Come on, you a lie! A Russian who hates vodka! It's like a German who isn't a kraut-loving nazi, or a Japanese woman, who isn't a submissive doll, or an Arab guy, who isn't a terrorist.
Just because you're Russian doesn't mean you should have to live up to other people stereo types of what they think Russians ought to be. My mother is Colombian and her drink of choice is scotch, my father and I drink rum and sister likes vodka. Everyone's different and you have the right to be yourself!
I think, you should be proud of yourself.I am Ukranian and also hate vodka)
Totally normal.
I'm an Aussie who doesn't like most beer...
Always preferred scotch & don't drink at all now.
you're probably not 100% Russian. Perhaps your mom had an affair with the Mexican gardener?
Sure, just because your Russian doesn't mean you have to like vodka. There probably are even Russians that don't drink at all, albeit very, very, very few. I'm sure there are other Russians and even people in Russia who don't like vodka. It's kind of tasteless really, just an alcohol taste really is all it is. I prefer beer, it has much more flavor
Just cause your Russian don't mean you have to like it...your human. And not all of us like the same stuff Russian or not! Your funny
This is basically a stereotype inside a stereotype. Like a Russian doll... I bet you've got one.
Next you will be telling us that you don't: take bribes, chain smoke, keep a stony face in public and take superstitions seriously.
Honestly it's fine just because you are born into a culture doesn't mean you have to follow it. Just be who you are.
If you dont like vodka you dont like it. Really if you cant find anything intersting about yourself to define yourself by other than being Russian you should reevaluate your life.
If your passport says you're Russian, then you are. Wether or not you like vodka has nothing to do with that.
I dislike pretty much all hard liquors but I like to drink beer on occasion. Sometimes too much at once. Is it normal that some black people really hate watermelon and fried chicken? Is it normal an irish man really hates to drink alcohol? Its just a stereotype.
No. You are definitely NOT Russian, IF you are drinking the REAL stuff; made from potatoes.
There are a lot of vodkas out there that are made from grain; they SUCK BIGTIME.
But any old Russian could have told you that.
