Is it normal that i'm obsessed with michael jackson?

So lately for about 4-5 months every single day I listen to Michael Jackson. I love his music but most of all I love his personality and how caring he is and all his views and opinions I agree with and feel the same way. I feel like I relate to him too.

I've been told I have the same personality as him which makes me feel like I'm not alone. I love the way he dances, and his style. I talk about him a lot and I know I annoy people but I can't help it. I sometimes wish I was a fan before he died but I didn't start researching on him and started listening to his music this year.

I read pretty much everything about him and know a lot about him and pretty much watched all of videos that are with him or have him in it on Youtube from short films, interviews, concerts, to all movies and news stories.. etc

I check his daughter's twitter and instagram every day like twice a day and sometimes his son. I have his picture saved in my phone and people get mad at me and tell me "he's dead" and I'm like "I know but I can't help it."

He's like a dream guy and so perfect. If I met a guy that had the same personality as him I'd probably marry him in a heart beat and I'm the type of person to push people away.

Is it normal to be this obsessed over a celebrity? Yet a deceased celebrity? Are you obsessed with Michael Jackson or just a fan? Do you have any celebrity obsessions? If so who? And do you think I'm weird of liking MJ so much?

    Unless you're an 8 year old boy, chances are MJ would have nothing to do with you.

    I completely relate to you. I myself am obsessed with Layne Staley from AIC. I think about Layne non stop everyday and like you I also talk about him a lot. I know Layne was a very shy, but approachable person and I often wonder if I could have helped him sober up if I was just a little older. Others that are commenting you have no idea what this person is going through. The feelings are very strong. Sometimes I think Layne speaks to me. I can be having the worst possible day and not even have the radio on when all of a sudden something tells me to turn it on. I do and every time an AIC song will be playing as if hes saying he is here for me. You are not a freak or weird I mean I am love with a heroin addict. Just try to think about how he has impacted your life for the better and some feelings will fade.

    I had this obsession too. It will wear off or you will be shamed by your peers. Possibly beaten.
