Is it normal that i'm obsessed with arabic culture and music?

I love Arabic culture and music! I love Arabic countries! I want to visit a country in the MENA region (yes I know this can exclude Arab countries). I'm completely fascinated with them. I add random Arab guys on FB to discuss their cultures and observe them, but I have no interest in flirting or having sex chats with them - yet I can't shake the feeling this is odd somehow. I have a strong infatuation about Arab and Middle Eastern stuff that spills over to the people so I like to study them and gauge their reactions. I usually joke around about loving Arab men just to push people's buttons and see their reactions but I don't have interest in sleeping or flirting around like that. Yet it feels wrong and creepy. Am I digging myself a dangerous hole?

    It's not very normal to be adding Arab people on FB, but it's fine to love the music and culture.

    It's fine to be fascinated with a culture as well as it's food and music without being attracted to the men of that culture. Just don't pretend to be something you aren't, lying isn't cool.

    How do you exclude Arab countries in MINA? All the countries on the Mediterranean Coast of Africa are Arab and most of those in the Middle East.
    I guess you could go to Israel, where only 1.4 million of 8 million are Arabs.
