Is it normal that i'm not in love with my girlfriend

Basically, I never really had a chance to "chase" her. Before my girlfriend, I loved chasing others girls, but my girlfriend (of about seven months) chased me and I dunno, I kinda miss it. I love her to death. She is like my best friend and really attractive, but to me it's really easy to take her for granted (she can be somewhat needy at times). I was wondering if it was normal that I am not IN love, but I love her. And I am defining "in love" as being obsessed with "us".

As a side note, I really can't see us getting married, but that is a bit in the future for me (I'm a college student).

Another side note, there was a girl I chased earlier (approx a year ago) who rejected me, but I feel like I occasionally revert to a want to be with her. I dunno what to do.

    It's normal, but trust me... If you dump her u will start to "love" her. I say enjoy what u have she sounds like a wonderful girl

    I guess u feel like u could do better.. poor girl, dont let her become too attached bcuz it sounds like ur going to inevitably dump her at some point.

    You should break up with her...you obviously are not attracted to the idea of you being together enough to continue it on. You are not an asshole, this is perfectly ok and normal. You should end the relationship because eventually it will end and its better sooner than later when you are even more serious than you are now. Good luck.
