Is it normal that i'm not bothered when friends ask this?

Is it normal that I don't get bothered when someone (a friend, co-worker, etc.) asks me if a female family member is hot, without them knowing anything about her?

Why should it bother you? Why do you have to ask this question?

I'm just wondering because the other day, my friend said he had to brb (we were on steam voice chat) because his sister just got home. When he came back I asked if his sister was hot. He got pissed at me and said she was ugly as fuck [half screaming it]
I just thought this was kinda weird so I wanted to know who was normal me or him. Because he asked me a similar question the next day and it didn't bother me at all, I actually went and asked the person if they thought they were hot, then came back and told the dude she was hot.

I am confused about why you were even voice chatting a guy. Anyway, some people act that way and some are like us, don't care

Steam is a gaming platform on pc it helps you communicate with your friends kinda like what games consoles do now.

          Oh.
@ the last part of your statement, okay then.
@ the first part, I was playing a game and I voice chat people on steam while gaming with them, typing anything more than 'lol' while playing LoL is a pain

Perhaps he was afraid to judge his sister in that way. I don't know many people who openly admit if they consider those of their own blood to be "hot". Try using the adjectives "pretty" or "attractive" instead, or questions whose answers might hint at a hotness level, such as, "Does she have a boyfriend?" or "Is she a dirty whore?". Actually, your friend might be just as offended by that last one.

This question wasn't really asking about co-workers being hot. It was about co-workers asking if female family members were hot. I have no co-workers.

Adrenaline pumping and no way of knowing how to let it all go after the fight. PLUS we as humans don't WANT to hurt others ...most of us. Sometimes we have to or in crazy people mind BELIEVE we have to.

I did this a lot growing up.Yep, I fought a lot. MMA fighters seem to a lot as well.
