Is it normal that i'm not allowed my laptop upstairs?

I am on social media, and my mom cleaned my room once and she looked through it. Turns out she was "unhappy" with how I acted and took away my laptop. I don't think I was doing anything wrong, she thinks I'm hiding things from her. I can only have it downstairs but occasionally I'm allowed in my room.
Note: I didn't date, show photos, or anything that could ruin my future. I just posted my art to deviantART and she doesn't like what I did??? Is this normal?

The fact that you are on this site means you are up to no good. I sure as hell would not want you reading any of the things I've posted here. Have you? Sounds like your mom is being a responsible parent. You don't know how lucky you are kid. Now get off this site and do some homework or something. There is a way I can find out who you are. If you ever get on this site again I'll know and I'll tell your mom. I swear I will.

What difference does it make? I am not comfortable with a kid on this site. What's up Mr moderator?

You don't know the age of OP and neither do I: that's why I was asking and implying h/she probably had the laptop bought by a parent

I happen to know that deviantART is a kind of rave with artistic teenage boys. Clue #1. Got an assist from RoseIsabella and reported this frisky young bugger a few minutes ago. Hopefully action will soon follow. We all do our thing here Ellenna, but this is no place for a teenage boy. Have a nice day.

I used to be like that when I was high school I was looking though porn and my parents found out and grounded me for a while. But after some time had passed I built up their trust in me and of course I started watching porn again but this time I had learned to be more careful about how to hide it.

Just click on the report at the end of OP'S post, and when it asks why state that OP is underage and then *poof* the post will be history.

Cool. Thanks, Rose. That kid being on this site kind of pissed me off. By the way, deviantART is the kind of site that would appeal to a teenage boy. A sort of H.P.Lovecraft sort of Stephen King kind of thing. The kid is pissed because mom overreacted. But it is her call. But no kid belongs on this site. Have a good day, Rose.
