Is it normal that i'm not able to dislike any posts on this site?

For some reason, I'm unable to dislike a post. I go to a post and if I want to dislike, the button is gone. Yet I don't know how people dislike a post when there is no dislike button.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

    I have a hypothesis but it's only conjecture. There might be an algorithm that checks your down-to-up vote ratio and if you thumb more down than up it temporarily disables down votes until the balance gets more favourable again.

    It's because you're a new user. I remember when I first joined that I couldn't down-vote, only up-vote. However, after making a few post, and spending time on the site I was able to down-vote one day.

    Give it time, and just enjoy the site if you can.

      No, I'm actually an old user. And when I first got this account, I was able to dislike, so sorry buddy, but you might wanna think of a different reason why.
