Is it normal that i'm nervous for my first college party?

I plan on going to this college thing and its like a huge party but I'm still in high school...I'm REALLY nervous because its gonna start off fun but later im sure there will be drinking and stuff! Do college students party hard? I've never drank anything before except a few sips of a wine cooler...and I started getting really giggley! :) lol when college guys see high school girls at a college party what do they do? Can they tell the girls are HS girls? :) What will the parties be like? I just want a heads up! :)

      bring several. better save than sorry. and alternate alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks unless you WANT to be taken advantage of.

    Lmao "Do college students party hard?" Oh boy. Yes they can probably tell you're from high school when you're huddled in a corner all nervous like. Also, after a beer you'll be gone and I'm sure they'll have no problem taking advantage of you. Have fun!

    Seeing as you're asking all these questions, are a serious lightweight, barely drink, and seem extremely nervous, you should just stay home.

    Unfortunately, college parties tend to attract a very poor representation of the larger male population. Most guys who attend such parties are only after one thing, sex. Be aware of your surroundings and who pours you your drink, if you do decide to drink.

    I think it's fine that you are a little nervous. I feel that the majority of people tend to feel a bit of anxiety when dealing with the unknown. It merely makes us human. Of course, do not forget the most important thing of all, which is have fun!

    Yes, they will know you're in high school, and they will harass you. (just kidding!)

    You don't have to get wasted to go to a college party, just drink a wine cooler or two, and eventually you will drink a couple and still be fine. Ease into it, and the college parties are something you will remember for the rest of your life! (and the REALLY good ones you won't remember at all!)

    And no, college guys don't have magical "high school" girl radar! (as long as you don't tell them!)

    Since you're still in high school and probably not the legal age, I think you should stay home. If you go: don't leave your drink unattended, bring a condom or learn self-defense
    (incase things get out of hand). Seriously, stay at home and wait until you're actually in college and have some experience under your belt!

    get drunk with a small group of friends before going to a party. then you will know your limits/know how you react to alcohol and not embarrass yourself.
