Ok so its prom season and I'm going to mine with my gf and I'm going to hers also(We go to different schools). Thing is she's had this friend since grade 6 who asked her to go to his(He goes to an all boys school so his options are limited haha). She asked whether I liked the idea or not and I obviously said no but for some reason she still wants to go ahead with it. It bugs me a lot because I get jealous very quickly and seeing how everyone takes prom so seriously he might want something from this, plus I have a lot of enemies from his school and this will make me look like bad. Her excuse is that he's just a friend and we're going to each other's prom which is all that matters.

So is it normal for me to make a big deal of this?

    That's kinda Stupid honestly. Her friend just doesn't want to miss out on prom, so why not let her go with him? It's not like theyre gonna do anything.

    Hopefully you'll understand when you've grown up.

      Sadly I'm still 17 and turning 18 in Nov. I bet when you were younger you joined a site without reaching the age limit.............

    I'd tell her I wouldn't like it too. Not because she's known him for x years means she can just do whatever she wants and not care about how you feel about it. I also understand they're friends and he won't have anyone but she's your girlfriend and he shouldn't have asked her. If she was single it would have been a total different story. He can go alone or get another girl or even an escort if he's desperate. The world won't end because he's going to prom alone :/ kids today.
