Is it normal that i'm jealous of my boyfriends mother

My boyfriend works in Europe and we live is Africa. I went to stay with him in Europe from february to end of April. And he just came to visit as for a month here in Africa. We do not own a house here. So we both still live with our parents(he lives with his mom). So when we were in Europe everything was so good between us, but when we are here I tend to get jealous very easily. There were three incidents that made me very sad. 1) we live 40km away from each other. So we usually spend three or more at his house and two nights at my house. So one day, we just got to my house and his mother then organized a dinner for the next evening. And when my boyfriend told her we are still at my house she got mad and wanted to cancel the dinner until my boyfriend gave in.and said we can go. 2) during his month of visiting us. We planned to go away to the beach for 4 days but never got the change,so we planned to go on his last weekend here. So his mother came and said no she wants the whole family to do something together,in the end she did get her way and we could not do anything that we wanted that weekend. 3) on the family day out we took family photos and i stood next to my boyfriend,and his mother just came and stand between us. I was so angry and sad,and with the next photo,his brother and mother wanted to stand next to him so i just stepped aside. Which i should not have done. ...can anyone give me advice and tell me if i am too sensitive and jealous.
