Is it normal that i'm jealous of my best friend's girlfriend?

I was talking to my best friend on the phone, and he mentioned that he has a girlfriend. I had this feeling in my stomach, like I was in love with him. Thing is, I'm positive I'm straight, I live with my girlfriend, and I love women. I do suffer from HOCD and I'm in the middle of a porn reboot (early stages). But I've been jealous of friends having girlfriends, even when I was single. I don't like guys like that (I'm pretty positive). So is it normal that I'm jealous of my best friend like that?

    i think your emotions are just mixed, im not an expert but i noticed you said when he mentioned his girlfriend you got that feeling. i believe more or less your not in love with him but you are connected closer to your friends than other people would be which isn't a bad thing but instead of love you feel like his girlfriend is taking him away from you.

    I'm a heterosexual female, and sometimes I get jealous of my best friend's boyfriend simply because I know that, now that she is with him, it won't be the same as it was before. We've been friends since our childhood, and now that guys have started coming into the picture, things aren't going to be how they used to be.

    I think, what is going on with you, is that you just don't want someone taking your best friend away. Perhaps you liked just having guy time where it was you and him. It doesn't make you gay or bi or anything like that. It just means you don't want anyone coming between your friendship, and I can definatly understand that. It is normal, and I believe a lot of people go through this.
