Is it normal that i'm jealous of characters in tv shows/movies?

If a female character is attractive in a show or a movie, my boyfriend will constantly comment on how good she looks and if she's a bad ass or has powers or something, she becomes even hotter to him. he's even started calling one of them "his baby" and said if he was on the show, he would marry her. it almost ruins the show for me. I don't mind him thinking these characters are attractive (i'm usually attracted to them too) but i really don't wanna hear about it. it makes me feel insecure and i know he wouldnt like me drooling over a male character.

I feel you. Don't ever watch Machete with your boyfriend. Its all hot ass chicks equipped with sexy guns. He will cum his pants. I wanted to cry during the whole movie when my boyfriend put it on. He was so excited about the film. I think your boyfriend should keep those thoughts to himself, tell him how it makes you feel. He might think its not a big deal because its just not realistic that he'll marry one of them, but if he continues, he's an ass.

I get it. If he's constantly commenting on the women, then it's bound to make you insecure.

If he drools over female characters, I see no issue with you drooling over male characters. If Liam Hemsworth comes on the screen as Thor, help yourself with comments. He might then understand why you don't like him obbessing over the characters right in front of you (assuming you've talked to him about it).

How can you be jealous of a fictional character? You are way too insecure.
Your bf definitely sounds very immature, but that really isn't the problem in your relationship, is it? You can never compare yourself to a fictional character with or without superpowers, that's just nuts.
As a matter of fact, it makes no sense to compare yourself to anyone; you are a one of a kind, unique individual, and that is what makes you special. Not some dumb superpowers that some writer made up or the looks some artist drew.
