Is it normal that i'm intrigued, curious about anorexics?

This is kind of odd I guess, and I know it's terrible, but when I think of a the topic of anorexia, I get really interested, and I find it somewhat beautiful the way the bones protrude underneath the skin. I've personally struggled with weight issues, but I've never had the desire to be unnaturally thin, just thin in a healthy sense. So is it normal that I'm preoccupied by such a horrible and unhealthy disease?

Whatever you do, don't let this obsession lead you to developing anorexia. A similar thing happened to me as a child. I became so obsessed with celebrities and their weight. That one thing lead to another and whoop there it was. I can no longer find beauty in it. I don't like seeing protruding bones and muscles.

Hmm... That's funny that you mention that. I have the same fascination with the morbidly obese. The beauty in the appearance that bones are non-existent. Resembling amorphous blobs with no underlying structure. The way they have to use sticks with a loop on the end for toilet paper to wipe their ass. The use of a sponge to cleanse themselves rather than showering. The ingesting of copious amounts of unhealthy food, seemingly unaware of their condition. The effortless navigation through the aisles of the a grocery store on motorized scooters.........fascinating.

I would say yes, I have no weight issues but when I'm on youtube I look for videos of the morbidly obese or anorexic. I am fascinated by the way their body has changed. It's like a mutation.
