Is it normal that i'm in love with one of my straight friends?

I'm a guy and admittedly bi but Ive only dated and have relationships with women. Recently I've found myself completely head ove heels in love with one of my friends. He's a guy, straight so far as I know but he's extremely attractive and for whatever reason lately we've been getting to know each other better. Lots of long personal talks about our pasts and telling each other secrets we never told anyone. Now it might be because we've been getting along like we have lately that I'm feeling the way I am but I've know him for a long time and only recently started feeling like this. Am I f*cking screwed up or what?

And he doesn't know that Im bi so I'm kinda wondering if I should throw it out there and see where it takes us.

    Totally normal. Many bisexual people prefer a certain sex and are only attracted to particular/special people of the other sex. Emotional attachment plays a big role in attraction no matter what your preference is, so it's not unusual that you're attracted to your friend after bonding with him.

    It wouldn't hurt to bring up the fact that you're bi as long as you're willing to accept that he might not be interested. He could be straight and not interested by default or he might be bi/gay but just not interested in you. As long as you can handle the possible rejection and still maintain your friendship then you'll be fine. You might even find out that he's attracted to you too :)

    Yep, my best friend opened up to me in grade seven. I didnt een know what being bi was.
    After she opened up to me, i still loved her the same. She confessed how nervous she was and we still joked around like best friends
    Although, she never told me she was in love with me. I'll never know.
