I've fell in love with my cousin when I was 12 and he was 13. We always came to visit in the summer as kids. We always looked forward to seeing each other every summer. Life took over and we didn't see or talk to each for 37 years. We just rekindled our relationship 4 months ago. I'm 50 he is 51. We have talked or texted for months. The last month we have talked or texted every day. We have sexted many times and over the phone. He tell me all the time how he wants to kiss me, hold me, make love to me etc. He calls me gorgeous all the time. He tells me how he wants to be the best man he can be. The best man I have ever had. I'm finding myself falling in love with him. I'm not sure what to do or what our families will think since we are first cousins. We have such wonderful cymistry together. More than I had ever had with any man. Confused and not sure what to do. Do I follow my heart?

    first cousin marriage is legal most every democrat voting states. Just go online and see. as for family ignore their opinion and out live them. I didnt marry my cousin because i thought i could do better. God what a fucking mistake that was.

    Cousin marriages are legal in many European countries. If it's accepted by the law, then it's normal.

    Honestly I could understand why it would be an issue if you guys were in your 20s and 30s, but at this point it's less about how what your family thinks or how it affects them and more about how you feel about each other.

    Go for it. First cousin marriages are legal in Britain, so move here if you are somewhere it's not.
