Is it normal that i'm in love with my best friend?

A couple of days ago I made a comment to my best female friend asking her if she would let me kiss her. I am openly bisexual, however my family doesn't know. She makes a lot of comments that hint to her also being bi and saying that she potentially is. She's only ever said these things to me though. When I asked she said maybe but then later on after talking to her on the phone she said no because I'm not completely comfortable with who I am. Is this normal? Do you think saying that is just an excuse or justification? I can't stop thinking about her and I she knows I like her so I try my hardest to not make it obvious but she still knows. Is it normal? And anyone willing to comment it, what do I do?

      No offense to you but since I heard this the first time I fucking drive crazy. The friendship is already in risk because it starts or it is going to start swaying if love or even feelings are in the play. One is always going to get hurt and that will harm the relationship.

      So why don't give it a chance? In my opinion becoming a couple with a best friend is the best relationship that can exist because you get along very well. You make each other laughing and it's so comfortable, casual and easy hanging around together. I would like to do this.

    At the moment she won't talk to me and we see each other every day.. it is really painful but thanks for the reminder @CaptainHiTop..

    I deal with the same stuff. It sucks because it hurts a lot. But the only thing that keeps me going is that I know ''there are more fish in the sea'' thing. Its dumb but it helps with the pain.
