Is it normal that i'm in love with a tv character?

So I started watching this show about 2 years ago, and I'm literally in love with one of the main characters (all other men are ruined for me).
I used to snicker and laugh at people who did this, but seriously, the only thing I've abstained from is getting a cardboard cutout of the man ( even I have my limits).
Its David Tennant's portrayal of the Doctor, from the long-running show Doctor who. Aside from reallife goals, I just want to meet this man.

    i flicked on to a kids show ages ago - lazytown and in it was a man i think french anyhow he was cute and ultra athletic , i used to watch it to see him, now thats sad

      I was gonna say the same show!! Btw they're icelandic- I think you're talking about "sportacus" (i thought he was french too) personally im more fond of Robbie rotten (despite the weird prostetic chin..) but theyre both cute xD

      I think the op's crush is slightly more normal.. Lol

    He became my favourite Doctor and I can see how anyone would fall for him. He's weedy and heroic at the same time. Girls tend to like that. When they say they want a confident man, it doesn't mean they want someone boorish.
