Is it normal that i'm high for such a long amount of time?

I've just smoked for the 2nd time ever. We did a gravity bong, in other words I got fucking high. At first I couldn't feel it, but then it was like on and off. This was at 7pm, now its 11pm, and I feel just like I do when I'm quite drunk.. Is this normal? And is the drunk feeling from smoking weed?

    I would say you probably feel the way you feel because of the weed.

    The longevity of your buzz depends on how much you smoke, and how your body handles it.
