Is it normal that i'm happy i was born in this era?

I was born in 1992, and I'm happy for it. Even with all the bad things in the world, the terrible music, the growing pessimism, I'm genuinely happy to be living in this time. I don't believe that there was ever a "good old days". Women not having any rights, black people not being able to vote, gay people being known only as sodomites, and religious close mindedness doesn't sound like the "good old days" to me.

There's so much new technology, new findings in science, new advancements in medicine, changes in the way people are thinking. Even with all the problems, and there are a lot of them, I'm atleast happy to be living in such an interesting part of history.

I bet you'll find that, as you grow older, you'll come to think of the time you were growing up as the "good old days". It doesn't mean it necessarily is. The human mind is selective and nostalgic.

Big gap between that and '92 buddy. Im glad you realise the terrible music but fuck me, gen Z are mostly the biggest baby ass, immature, stupid and over emotional bunch of rejects.
